Fine China isn't just mean to be admired from behind the glass doors of the cabinet. Tea (or coffee) is an event that deserves the best.

For as long as I can remember, this is the only teacup my mum drinks from. She's broken hundreds of them in her morning rushes and complains that the latest ones aren't made as beautifully as the old ones made in England. She's not trying to be fancy. She says fine china makes the tea taste better. I never understood this until about 5 years ago when I started collecting. I get it now. She's right.

Immortalising one of the "Old English Roses" ones. I love this painting.
